My Own Healing Journey

When I first began my nutrition studies, I was already in a state of deep depletion. My boys were young, I was running on adrenaline, and my nervous system was in overdrive. I thought learning about health would “fix me,” but studying full-time in that state just pushed me further toward burnout. I ended up with total adrenal exhaustion — extreme fatigue, brain fog, and tears always sitting just below the surface. I had to take six months off my diploma just to recover.

This pattern of depletion had actually started much earlier. When I was just three months old, I had emergency surgery for intussusception (a bowel blockage). The physical trauma, the scar tissue, and the early imprint of anxiety shaped my digestion and my whole approach to life. Over the years, my gut became highly reactive — at one point, I was so bloated and inflamed I couldn’t wear most of my clothes.

Through years of Body Code work on myself, I’ve cleared hundreds of layers of emotional and physical trauma, realigned my organs, and even eased my pelvic floor prolapse symptoms.

Why Pelvic Alignment Matters for Women Over 40

The pelvis houses more than just our reproductive organs — it’s also home to the bladder, bowel, and an intricate network of fascia, ligaments, and nerves that link to our spine and hips. If any of these structures are misaligned or under chronic tension, energy flow is disrupted.

In the Body Code, fascia is often called the energetic superhighway. It’s one continuous piece of connective tissue running through your entire body. When the fascia around your pelvic organs is tight, twisted, or energetically blocked, it’s like a traffic jam on that superhighway. Hormonal communication can become “muffled,” digestion slows, and you might experience bloating, lower back pain, or hip stiffness.

For women in perimenopause and beyond, these blocks can amplify symptoms like irregular cycles, low libido, weight gain, and fatigue. The good news? Realigning and rebalancing these structures energetically can restore flow, improve hormone balance, and release years of stored tension.

The Body Code Reproductive Reset

In my sessions, I use the Body Code to identify and correct energetic misalignments in reproductive organs such as the ovaries, uterus, or bladder. This can involve:

  • Clearing trapped emotions or physical trauma energy from the pelvic area.

  • Realigning fascia to improve structural and energetic flow.

  • Resetting communication between the reproductive system and the endocrine system.
