What To Expect During A Session

Trying something new can feel a little daunting — especially when it comes to energy healing.

This page is designed to take away the mystery so you know exactly what typically happens when we work together.

Every session is guided by your body’s priorities, but the overall process is gentle, structured, and deeply supportive.

What Healing Sessions With Me Are Like

Sessions are calm, intuitive, and surprisingly relaxed. You don’t need to prepare anything special or relive old experiences. Your subconscious and nervous system guide the process, and we simply follow what your body is ready to shift.

One of the core principles behind my work is that you’re not broken.

Your body is usually doing the best it can with the signals it’s receiving. When stress, emotional patterns, or nervous system overload build up over time, the body can start “bracing” — which can show up as fatigue, hormonal chaos, digestive issues, anxiety, or stubborn weight changes.

My role in a session isn’t to fix you — it’s to help your body show us what it’s ready to release and rebalance.

How Sessions Typically Unfold

Every session is guided by your body’s priorities, but most follow a similar flow.

1. We connect with your subconscious

Using muscle testing, I connect with your subconscious — like a yes/no compass — to identify the most important patterns your system is currently holding.

These might include:

  • trapped emotions

  • nervous system stress responses

  • subconscious beliefs

  • energetic imbalances

  • metabolic or signalling patterns within the body

This process allows us to bypass the analytical mind and communicate directly with your body’s deeper intelligence.

2. We identify the root patterns

Rather than focusing only on symptoms, we look at the underlying signals influencing how your system is functioning.

This may involve tools from the Emotion Code, Body Code, or my own framework — the Metabolic Circuitry Method (MCM).

MCM builds on the foundations of these systems and allows us to explore deeper physiological and energetic patterns such as cellular signalling, metabolic pathways, identity templates, and the body’s stress responses.

Sometimes the body wants to work very specifically within an organ, gland, or pathway. Other times it simply wants to reset an entire system — like the nervous system — so the body can return to balance as a whole.

3. We release what your body is ready to clear

Once the imbalance is identified, we release what your body is ready to let go of.

This may include:

  • magnetic energy and focused intention

  • swiping the governing meridian (an energetic reset pathway that runs from the forehead over the head and down the spine)

  • frequency installs or “quantum truths” that anchor supportive states such as calm, clarity, resilience, and vitality

Most releases happen quickly, but the body continues integrating the shifts afterward.

How You Might Feel After a Session

Every person — and every session — is different.

Some clients notice immediate changes, while others experience more gradual shifts over the following days.

Common experiences include:

  • feeling calmer or more grounded

  • emotional processing or release

  • clearer thinking or improved focus

  • deeper sleep

  • subtle shifts that build momentum over time

Sometimes people feel very little immediately, with changes unfolding gradually as the body integrates the work.

However your body responds, it’s simply part of your system processing change.

Supporting Integration After Your Session

Healing continues after the session itself.

To support this phase, you’ll receive detailed session notes explaining what came up during your session and the patterns we worked on.

You’ll also receive personalised integration suggestions depending on what surfaced — simple nervous system practices, reflective prompts, or supportive habits to help stabilise the changes.

Some helpful integration practices include:

  • drinking plenty of water

  • resting if your body asks for it

  • gently moving or shaking your body

  • taking a warm bath with Epsom salts and baking soda

  • reflecting on what surfaced during the session

  • asking your subconscious: “Show me what’s different.”

Even small shifts are meaningful — each one helps build momentum.

How Sessions Are Held

Sessions are flexible and designed to work with your lifestyle.

Zoom sessions
We connect live and work through the session together.

Remote sessions
Many clients prefer this option. You simply email me what’s going on for you, and I complete the session at the agreed time. Afterwards you receive full notes explaining what came up.

Some clients even sleep through their session if they are in a different time zone.

In-person sessions
Available for local clients in the Tauranga / Papamoa area.

All formats are equally effective.
