One of the more unusual things I discovered in my own healing was what I call an “allergy to being deserving.” It was as if my subconscious had labelled deserving good things as unsafe. That meant every time I tried to call in something beautiful—a healthier body, financial ease, more joy—part of me would quietly pull away because it didn’t feel like I had the right to receive it. This wasn’t about willpower or mindset. It was an unconscious, programmed reflex.

  • Grief sits around 75 on the scale.

  • Courage sits at 200.

  • Love vibrates at 500.

  • Joy is even higher at 540.

You don’t have to “jump” from grief to joy overnight. But every time you heal an emotional wound or release a subconscious block, you rise on that scale—sometimes subtly, sometimes dramatically. And at each higher level, you become a match for different opportunities, relationships, and experiences.

Safety First, Expansion Second

The nervous system has one job: keep you alive. That means it will prioritise safety over expansion every time. So if your subconscious associates change, success, or abundance with risk, it will quietly sabotage your efforts—often without you realising it.

Your body needs to feel safe before it can feel expansive.
Try this once or twice a day:

  • Place one hand on your heart, one on your belly.

  • Breathe in slowly through your nose for a count of 4.

  • Hold for 2.

  • Exhale gently through your mouth for a count of 6.

  • Repeat for 1–2 minutes, letting your shoulders drop.

This simple practice signals to your body that it’s safe to move out of fight-or-flight and into rest-and-repair mode.

2. Release One Small Emotion at a Time

Grab a notebook and write:

“Right now, I feel _______.”

Don’t judge what comes up—whether it’s “frustrated,” “lonely,” or “tired.” Just name it.
Now, ask yourself: “Can I allow this feeling to be here for a moment?”
When you acknowledge an emotion instead of resisting it, you often loosen its grip.

3. Shift Your State Before You Visualise

Manifestation works best when you’re in a regulated, open state—not when you’re stressed or overwhelmed. Before you do affirmations or visualisations, take a few minutes to regulate your body with breath, movement, or music that lifts you up.

4. Install a Supportive Truth

Pick a statement that feels just believable enough for your body. Examples:

  • “It’s safe for me to receive.”

  • “I am allowed to feel good in my life now.”

  • “I am becoming more open to abundance every day.”

Repeat it slowly, breathing it in, and imagine it soaking into every cell.

5. Get Help for the Deeper Layers

Some blocks are too hidden or too deep for us to spot on our own.
