The Emotion Code: Why You Might Still Feel Stuck (Even When You’re Doing Everything “Right”)

What Is the Emotion Code? (and why it actually makes sense)
The Emotion Code is a way of identifying and releasing trapped emotions — emotional energy that your body didn’t fully process at the time.
And here’s the wild part…
These emotions can sit in your body for years (sometimes decades), quietly influencing:
how you feel
how you react
your nervous system
even your physical health
I see this all the time in sessions.
Women who are doing all the right things…
eating well, trying to manage stress…
but still feeling stuck, reactive, or exhausted.
And underneath it?
There’s usually something their body is still holding onto.
What’s actually happening in the body? (science meets energy)
When you experience something intense — stress, grief, shock, even something subtle but ongoing — your nervous system is supposed to process and resolve it.
But if it’s too much at the time?
Your body does something incredibly intelligent.
👉 It stores it.
Not because it’s broken…
but because it’s protecting you.
You can think of trapped emotions like unfinished stress responses — little loops in the nervous system that never fully completed.
And over time, those loops start to show up as:
anxiety or overthinking
tension in the body
hormonal or digestive issues
feeling stuck or disconnected
So no — you’re not imagining it.
Your body is actually trying to deal with something.
Heart Walls: the hidden pattern I see all the time
One of the most powerful things we can uncover using the Emotion Code is something called a Heart-Wall.
This is essentially a protective layer of trapped emotions around the heart.
It forms when you’ve been hurt — emotionally, physically, or even just overwhelmed — and your body goes:
👉 “Nope. That was too much. Let’s put a wall up so we don’t feel that again.”
Which is actually… kind of genius.
But over time?
That same wall can start to block:
connection
joy
intimacy
your ability to fully feel like yourself

👉 What is a Heart-Wall?
I’ve had clients say things like:
“I didn’t realise how shut down I was until it lifted”
“I feel softer… but stronger at the same time”
And honestly?
That shift is everything.
My story (aka the moment I realised this actually works)
I remember one season where my husband was travelling a lot for work…
and I was SO triggered.
Like… irrationally angry.
Snappy, resentful, constantly on edge.
And part of me knew:
👉 this doesn’t even make sense
But I couldn’t stop it.
When I worked through it using the Emotion Code, layers started coming up:
abandonment
resentment
old emotional patterns I didn’t even realise were still there
Some of it went right back to childhood.
Once those were released?
It was like the charge just… dropped.
I could actually see the situation clearly again.
And the funniest part?
A few days later my husband said:
“I don’t know what you’ve done, but you’re being so much nicer to me now.”

That’s when I knew — this work isn’t subtle.
But here’s the thing most people don’t realise…
Releasing emotions is powerful.
But on its own?
It’s often not enough to create lasting change.
Because if the nervous system, subconscious patterns, and body itself don’t update…
