What to Expect from a Session with Me: A Gentle Guide to The Emotion Code + Body Code

I get it. Reaching out for help—especially the kind that works with your subconscious and energy field—can feel like a big leap. So in this post, I want to gently walk you through what a session with me looks like, step by step. That way, you can feel safe, relaxed, and fully supported from the moment we begin.

What Is The Emotion Code + Body Code?

The Emotion Code and Body Code are powerful energy healing systems created by Dr. Bradley Nelson. They use muscle testing, intuition, and the wisdom of your subconscious mind to identify and release trapped emotions, energetic blocks, and imbalances that are keeping you stuck—emotionally, physically, or energetically.

The Emotion Code focuses on clearing trapped emotional energy, while The Body Code goes deeper into six key areas of imbalance in the body:

  1. Energies (trapped emotions, offensive energies, etc.)

  2. Circuits & Systems (organs, glands, chakras, meridians)

  3. Toxicity (chemicals, heavy metals, etc.)

  4. Pathogens (bacteria, viruses, mold)

  5. Structural (misalignments, tension)

  6. Nutrition & Lifestyle (nutritional deficiencies, sleep issues, etc.)

Think of it as intuitive energetic diagnostics for your body and soul.

What Happens in a Session?

Each session is a sacred space where you’re fully held—emotionally, energetically, and without judgment.

You don’t need to prepare anything beforehand. You can show up as you are—tired, wired, emotional, or curious. We can meet live on Zoom or I can work remotely and email you a session summary afterward (great for kids, busy mums, or if you're not a talker!).

Here’s what a session typically includes:

1. Muscle Testing & Intuitive Connection

I use muscle testing (also known as applied kinesiology) to connect with your subconscious mind. It acts like a yes/no compass, helping us find the trapped emotions or imbalances at the root of what you’re experiencing.

2. Finding the Root Cause

We ask the body what it's ready to release. We might uncover emotions like grief, shame, or anxiety—or imbalances in a specific organ, gland, or system.

3. Releasing the Imbalance

Once we identify the issue, I release it using magnetic energy and intention—often within seconds. Most people don’t feel anything during the release, though some do experience physical or emotional sensations like tingles, tears, yawns, or a sense of lightness.

4. Letting the Body Integrate

Your body knows exactly what to do. After the session, you may feel tired, energized, emotional, peaceful, or even surprised by how your reactions shift over the coming days. Every experience is valid.

How Many Sessions Will I Need?

This really depends on the depth of what you're working through.

For example:

  • Heart-Wall work typically takes around 3 sessions (though some people release it faster, and others take a little longer).

  • For ongoing physical or emotional issues, we might work together over several weeks or months, peeling back the layers. The truth is—your subconscious is in charge. It will only allow what it feels is safe and supportive to release in each session. And that’s a beautiful thing.

What Should I Do After a Session?

✨ Rest if your body asks for it
✨ Reflect gently on anything that comes up
✨ Ask your subconscious: “Show me what’s different.”

This simple practice helps train your awareness to notice the changes—emotional, physical, or energetic—that are happening beneath the surface.
